You said you are 29 & the weight gain has happened over the past 3 years, although you eat the same. You are experiencing the normal slowdown of age. Have the thyroid checked, but in the end you may simply need to alter what you eat to accomodate getting older. I know, it stinks. With this method you gonna feel as if you suffer from hyperthyroidism. Symptons from hyperthyroidism: Major clinical signs include weight loss (often accompanied by an increased appetite), anxiety, intolerance to heat, hair loss, muscle aches, weakness, fatigue, hyperactivity, irritability, hypoglycemia[citation needed], apathy, polyuria, polydipsia, delirium, tremor, pretibial myxedema, and sweating. In addition, patients may present with a variety of symptoms such as palpitations and arrhythmias (the notable ones being atrial fibrillation), shortness of breath (dyspnea), loss of libido, amenorrhoea, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gynaecomastia and feminization.[8] Long term untreated hyperthyroidism can lead to osteoporosis. You can make a handful of almonds, peanuts, etc. as one of those meals. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15176280 Keep that metabolism going constantly You'll find yourself hungry a lot once you do this. I always carry jars of almonds and peanuts in my car and at work. Good carbs that burn slow. Exercise is a no brainer and diet is huge. As cheesy as this sounds, you are what you eat. STAY AWAY FROM SUGAR |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1583465 Take raspberry ketone as a supplement. Cut out sugar, bread and "white carbs" (incl. rice). Quinoa is excellent. It cooks like a grain, but is actually a protein. I'm having everything I needed to, but still can't burn more than 50 calories on a treadmill. I might go see my doctor tomorrow. |

Aquarianside User ID: 21628353 United States 10/14/2012 11:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Greetings, I have been transforming my own body over the last 2 years, i am 26. I have noticed that my metabolism is much better than it once was, so i'll tell you what has worked for me. First, your lack of energy causes you to not want exercise, you can regain that energy and your body will crave exercise. The first thing you want to do is change your diet to as much liquid as possible. There are very simple ways to do this. For protein, the most important part of your diet, I recommend a low temp non-denatured protein powder, for best taste imo mix it with organic chocolate milk. For lunch, I would recommend a product called Beyond Tangy Tangerine by Youngevity. This product is simply the best vitamin/mineral/amino acid supplement on the market. If you want the most absorbable, great tasting, affordable way to get the nutrients you need, this is it hands down. Do you need caffeine each day? The company projoba merged with Youngevity and have a product called Pollen Burst. It is the best tasting energy drink on the market. The energy comes from three sources: Organic Pollen, Superoxide dismutase (SOD), and green tea extract (75mg-caffeine). The pollen is an incredible source of phytonutrients. Look up SOD, it will blow your mind that this stuff is bioavailable in a product on the market, and the caffeine from the green tea extract won't give you the "come down" feeling of most coffees and energy drinks. Regarding food, cut down your calories to 1200 a day for a month to two months. If you can eat foods without HFCS, MSG, gluten, wheat, grains, aspartame, and anything processed. If you can stick to this regimen or something similar i suspect that not only will your metabolism return, your weight will go away as well. The biggest lie out there right now is that our food contains everything our bodies need for optimal health. |
