Anonymous Coward User ID: 17113085 United States 10/17/2012 05:37 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | How does that make it a police state? It was private property and they weren't invited. They were trespassing. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25350443 It makes it a police state because only the establishment approved candidates are allowed. Do you see how that works now? That's not what police state means. Maybe you should read up more. My point still stands though. They were not invited. These aren't government sponsored debates and there is no reason for them to think they have any right to be there. |

These aren't government sponsored debates and there is no reason for them to think they have any right to be there. That is exactly one of the defining signs of a police state. Maybe you should read up more yourself. They are in fact government debates, the federal/lobbyist funded commission decides who debates. The fact that it is a private venue is immaterial. The Debate Was Rigged (Duh) Posted by Lew Rockwell on October 17, 2012 07:39 AM See Glenn Greenwald on the crooked Commission on Presidential Debates, and its leaked secret agreement between the two predatory parties. The lobbyist-funded commission was set up to prevent another Ross Perot from ever appearing in a presidential debate. The League of Women Voters—who used to run the debates—would never be allowed to scare the regime again. Perot was destroyed, as he said, by George H.W. Bush's CIA.
