I don't like this. Russia has been acting way too aggressive recently. Georgia war, increasing participation in ME affairs, huge upgrades to the air force by 2020, increase in overall military spending... I don't like it at all.

And after all that, they'll still be spending less than 10% of what we do on death toys and wars.

What do you expect? They are not a weak nation, they do not respect the way they have been belittled by the west. It's our own fault for not respecting them. Was it so hard? No, it wasn't.... But the west has been pushing it's weight around, making all sorts of power plays and threats.

Russia doesn't deal in intimidation, they like to get down when conflict arises. I really don't like the way our incompetent leaders have been playing them off like they aren't a super power. Acting like Russia is a joke.

They were just asking for a fight, Russia will arm up and answer them if they keep asking.

Every country has interests in some parts of the world, unfortunately Russian interests are in the East where the American and other allied nations want to create trouble for whatever reasons they might have.

Even if Russia boosts spending by 59% they will still be at maybe 20% of what the US spends. They are probably no more efficient in their spending than the US.

no worries, most of those monies will go to corruption just like now.

It wouldn't be a problem if the weapons didn't eventually get into the hands of people who want to kill U.S. soldiers.
