The thing is we don't actually believe the Bible is the Word of God.

Perhaps you can understand our sentiment if you think how you would feel about people running around claiming some book you find stupid and boring is the Word of God, and make outlandish claims about everything in general, while cursing you to hell for not seeing the world like they do.

i know this case where this christian priest was raping small children after mass or whatever , over a long periode of time. People found out, people of your faith, wrote a letter to the vatican - who denied all the charges , sent the priest to mexico where everything start over again.
