because many people think the idea that eternal suffering awaits anyone who questions god's infinite love is silly.

because many people were raised in authoritarian religious sects & thru personal experience have come to their own conclusions about the nature of reality that differ from what they were taught to believe.

because many people use the bible as a tool to get people to submit to them in the name of their "higher power".

because it's been polluted by the myriad of conflicting fevered ego's who claim to follow it & it's easier to have a conversation about your personal experiences with reality by excluding it & all the baggage that comes with it.
