The Catholic Church views Mormons as Pagans, yet the Church has a softer view on Muslims being they worship the same God

This is an issue my father and I argue about. My father has hated Obama for the last 4 years, and he counts the days when the election comes. I can't say I hate Obama but I don't hate him. Obama hasnt been perfect, but no president is. There are several reasons I cannot vote for Romney and one of the is because Romney is a pagan.

My father, a stanch Catholic, follows the church and obeys in all ways in his life, yet he is bucking the church to vote for Romney a pagan.

I just dont understand how any Christian could vote for a morman. Mormons believe there are 3 gods, they believe jesus and satan are brothers. They have all these crazy beliefs.
