Question on Food stamps
The state of Tennessee has started staggering its food stamps. Im wondering if other states have done the same. I am in the food / grocery industry and am having to deal with changes to my product sales from the first of the month all the way through the 15th now. Its easier in some ways cause I dont have heavy orders at the first of the month and small orders at the end

in NC they are staggered throughout the month based on the last digit of your SSN.

Re: Question on Food stamps
Have they been doing this for a while or is it a new thing? Im wondering if Tennessee is behind the ball or they are trying to stagger things to reduce the run at the first of the month which is becoming quite evident statewide.

Re: Question on Food stamps
Do you mean staggering the dates they are refilled? Utah does that based on last name. I think they break it up on the 5th and 11th of the month.

Re: Question on Food stamps
I was in line for 10 minutes tonight behind to black boys about 15 years old. They had arm fulls of junk food and when the cashier rang up the total, it was 2.19. That was for the back of Black and Milds. No ID required. Is this the shit I'm really working my ass off to pay for?
