Earthquake 'jolt' in Illinois on 10/29/12 at the stroke of midnight (10/28 - 10/29)?

Last night at the stroke of midnight there was a 'jolt' in northwest Illinois area that must have been an earthquake. Reports are that the ground 'thumped' like someone jumped up and down right next to you -- just once. It was enough energy in the 'jolt' to get many people up and looking around for the source.
