This is what I've been saying! I have him at 280, and Obama at 243 with 15 electoral votes currently in a tie (WI and IA - which I believe Romney will ALSO win).

If it doesn't go down that way (at least 280), there's something sincerely shady going on!

I understand that Rasmussen is the consistently most accurate of all the polling organizations, correct?

Yes. Historically they are the most accurate. I've been tracking current polls for a while. I don't trust the other aggregators - RCP, and CERTAINLY not CNN.

They will replace Rasmussen data with some biased University Poll or a CNN poll or some crap like that. For one thing the margin of error has been covering or NEAR covering the gap in many cases - for the other thing, the polls they are using are just not very accurate in general, either the target population is skewed, or the sample size is too small, etc.

Well there's no accounting for a biased crappy polling report.

We can only hope...personally I think it will be the most lopsided loss for an incumbant President in the historry of the Republic.

If it's not, they've done something seriously unethical.

Rasmussen and Gallup are crap - heavily biased towards the repukes.

Pew is good and shows the race tied up.
But Obama is still winning the swing states.
The early results trickling out of NC look extremely good for Obama, in spite of Nate Silver thinking that state will go to Romney.

Romney and Ryan are going to lose all three of their homestates ha ha.

It's all about Romney maximizing the turn-out, while hopeing that Hurricane Sandy & general disappointment minimizes the Obama turn-out and voter fraud.

nancy Pelosi is actually predicting a Democratic take over of the House -- only 2 years after Dems lost a whopping 65 seats. Maybe Ol' Nancy knows something the rest of us don't. How many illegals, repeat voters and electronically manipulated voting machines is she counting on in her election calculus, I wonder?

The early voting numbers in North Carolina are trickling in, and they don’t look good for Romney. Democrats lead Republicans 50%-31% in early voting, turnout is up 20% overall, and young voter turnout is up 24%.

That only tells what party the person was registered with, NOT how they voted as that would be highly illegal.

Keep in mind Rasmussen is Fox News' in house polling partner. They conduct a "quick" 4 hour poll that often skips younger more democratic voters who often aren't at home to answer their Qestions. Most polls are conducted over 2 or 3 days and persist to poll those who don't initially answer. Rasmussen has been shown to skew #5 in favor of the GOP.

The next week will all be about the flooding. If Obama shows leadership, it will benefit him.

Rasmussen has the best track record and have been correct in the last half dozen or so elections. Romney +2

Gallup is the biggest name in polling. Romney +5

Then we have a couple of ties. These are the polls since 10/26.

Real Clear Politics always has all the major polls soon as they are posted.

So many blue states are on the bubble. There is a very good chance this could be a landslide. I'm not saying it will be because I have ZERO faith in the voting public after the last three presidential elections, but this could be a serious electoral ass whoopin' for Obama.
