Go do the jail time... It's a lot less than the drug court.

If you can, do the jail time and get off of the probation papers. They will end up screwing you at the last minute and re-instating your original charges. All they really want is money, but the system is so screwed up, it will bite you in the @ss.

I know I tried, but they don't want to let me go. On my first day of drug court, I was arrested for driving my car since my license was suspended. I didn't even know they could do that, i was just being honest since they seemed like they were trying to develop a relationship based on trust. The first chance they got to fuck me over and they threw me in jail.

I made it very clear to my probation officer that I would rather do my time and when they called me to court from jail, i went to drug court instead and the judge yelled at me for being "disrespectful" becuase I had previously told my probation officer that going to work and school were bigger priorities to me than being in drug court, since you can't do all 3 if you're in the program. My probation officer even said that I must drop out of school to be in drug court.

The judge then sentenced me to boot camp and I was released from jail 2 weeks later so now I have no idea what the hell is going on but I'm willing to bet they expect me to return to drug court...

All i want is a way out...

this. i have heard SO many stories of people getting put back through the ringer and ending up in more trouble for some minor last minute "violation" which ends up in more trouble, more probation, and more fines.

the legal system is a real fuck in the ass no matter how you play it, unless of course you can afford to buy off the system with expensive lawyers at the onset of the process.

i'd suggest you cut off all ties with everybody until your probation/drug court BS is over with. don't drive unless you're going to or from work. take up a new hobby, something creative.. art or writing or whatever you're inclined to do. or just, whatever, go mad hermit style an camp out in front of your xbox

I honestly feel like drug court is the devils court. Once you sign those papers their is no way out. Your life belongs to them now.

If anyone knows much about symbolism, you may be interested in their logo.

I would post a picture of it if I could. Their symbol is a gavel with the two snakes around it, similiar to the symbol for the medical association.

My brother in law found a way out....he failed a drug test and got 90 days of gov mandated rehab. Advise: stay clean.

The court system really loves to fuck with the young people down here.
Once they're in the system, they like to keep them there.

FL is fucking fascist. I moved to MD in 1994, and the difference is stunning. NO paramiltary cops, no overbearing profit based drug court system, etc.

Is there anyone who knows the law? I seemed to have given up all of my rights when I signed up for drug court, what can I do about this?

Also, when I was in jail I visited the Law Library and I was informed that I could appeal my plea bargain, do you guys have any idea how this could be done?

I would say hiring a lawyer would help, but they are just as big of thieves as the police and drug court system its self. Your best bet is to either do the jail time, or just lay low and sober/clean until the probation ends. Dont ever leave the house, just stay home and work/school.

Yes, but you'll need a lawyer to get you out of the plea bargain.
Because of that plea bargain you currently "have no standing" in the court.
You need to hire a real lawyer, the public defender won't/can't do it.
He's an officer of the court.

Moving will work if you can stay off the drugs and avoid the authorities.

Unless you have a fuck ton of money OP, just bend over and take it or go postal, about all the average person can do anymore.

Sounds like you're going to get a deferred prosecution. Focus on the school/job thing and you'll get this fixed. They will randomly drug test you, but usually it's a 1 year things, sometimes up to 3, but it's better than jail. You can expunge your deferred prosecution in most states within 5-7 years. No more record! If you need any more details, give more info.

learn about common law and the freeman movement fast, and tell that judge where to go.

or ask your barister nicely to challenge the foundation evidence of the case as you do not see how the statute or bill applies to you.
