Thats not good. Hot springs are made by Volcanic vents. Need I say more.

that 7.7 was really something, i wonder if it's gonna cause another earthquake from all the backed up pressure of the water not flowing.

Appreciate the links. This is VERY sad news for all those who enjoyed their warm waters.... Maybe they will pop up again, even else where. Of course I hope people think to test the water temp before they jump in! I remember some volcano movie where the kids jumped into a known, often used hot springs and got cooked because the water temp had increased with the volcanic activity. Not good!! After watching that it really stuck with me!LOL I now test the water temp everytime before I get into a hot springs regardless how often I've visited that one before. I don't test with my fingers either!! Seems Mother Earth is changing lots of things these days. Wondering what else is in store for us humans! Stay safe all!
