A request made to God never reaches him directly: the angels, his servants, are the ones that transmit your wishes, your prayers

A request made to God never reaches him directly: the angels, his servants, are the ones that transmit your wishes, your prayers
"A request made to God never reaches him directly: the angels, his servants, are the ones that transmit your wishes, your prayers. Or maybe they don’t transmit them, even, and many requests don’t reach their destination. Why? Because entities sort them on the way. They examine your requests, and with some of them they say, ‘Why take all that all the way to God? He’s got other things to do than listen to these sorts of complaints. Throw them in the waste basket!’
So, I hope that’s clear. When you pray, you can address the Lord directly – I do this myself – but be aware that others will be conveying your requests. And if these requests are not pure and disinterested, they’ll be thrown away, and your prayers won’t be answered."

Well said, that's why every time I pray I start by saying "ATTENTION: GOD'S EARS ONLY! THAT MEANS NO ANGELS AND SERVANTS, JUST GOD, HE LOVES ME, WE TIGHT, I GOT HIM ON SPEED DIAL, SO BUTT OUT YOU NOSEY SERVANTS"

Then I just go on with my normal prayer, patriots win the superbowl, I need to win the lottery, just that type of stuff.
