Seriously, I can't believe half the religious asshattery I read here.
Some of you Christians are broken fools. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I was raised in a Lutheran church. I was saved at 23. Had all the awakenings and everything. But at some point you have to look outside of the coffin of dogma.
Jesus doesn't want you to be an idiot. He wants you to be the wisest person you can be. Wisdom comes from having vast knowledge about everything. Wisdom comes from life experiences. Wisdom does NOT come solely from scriptures.
If you proclaim yourself a Christian and have yet to read the bible in its entirety, front to back every single page in order, then you are a fraud. I bet 95% of you just regurgitate what your hypocrate chicken shit pastor says to you because in reality, most of you are cult victims.
I don't say that to insult. I say it to wake you up. And yes i do know better. I personally work with recovering cult victims and most obstinate shut down "Christians" on this site show the exact same symptoms. Inability to reason. Refusal to look at facts. Denial of proven truths. Their habitual programmed retreat to quoting stupid bible phrases that you project yourself onto that don't have any relevance in the real world.
The bible is not the final authority. It is not a manual on how to live your life. If you actually read it straight through, you'd know this. The bible is a book. A record of things past. It's prophecies may or may not be true, it does not matter. God made the Sabbath for man, not man for the Sabbath.
So please snap out of it. Being aware does not make you the devil. You are ALLOWED to know things. God WANTS you to be smart. If the God in the bible wanted you to remain an ignorant fool then really, what kind of god is that? That's not love. That is hatred.
If your faith is correct then you have nothing to risk by opening your minds and learning new and wonderful things.

After some 37 years at this, I have come to the conclusion that the
GREATEST lust on the face of the earth is
not sexual lust,
nor the lust for power, nor the lust for pleasure and entertainment and every distraction from the Truth possible; but, rather, the lust for
ANNIHILATION.
And soon this civilization will get what it has
LUSTED for with
EVERY fiber of its being.
