NYPD driving around in a truck giving out food supplies..? Staten Island

I'm in Staten Island, South Shore. And i JUST looked out my window and i saw a NYPD Truck stroll down the block, which was open in the back and had a few officers on there, but the truck was loaded with food and water, which they seemed to be giving out.

Earlier, i wasn't up yet, my parents said other people came and offered food and supplies..

All houses on our block have the "Green Circle" on it, from the D.O.B.


We got power back two days ago.
