Report Copyright Violation | Where to find 100% organic food for a vegan near Queens NYC/Long Island? Please help Im trying to avoid this GMO crap. NO GMO AT ALL. All i want is fresh 100% organic produce and organic bread/tofu. Since the USDA seal probably shOUdn't be trusted....
Im sure there are cautious vegans here that live near me so i would like to where you prefer to go and what foods/recipes you recommend. And how do u know its 100% organic?
Also, how do we know if the farmer at a farmer's market isn't lying when he says its 100% organic?
Any trustworthy grocery stores? |

The option of going "vegan" is only an available because nearly every piece of food we eat arrives a truck. When reality sets in and the trucks stop rolling your neighbors kitty 'sparkles' is gonna look mighty tasty.... we are meat eaters. It is in our DNA: Eat meat - don't starve. simple. |

Does it look buggy to you? Cuz the stuff one grows or gets from those you know who grow organically is always buggy. The only way to REALLY know is to grow it yourself.

lots of organic there, but none for sure
when you live in the country and buy from a farmer you know or grow your own, there is no middle man to lie
all food in NYC may have passed through several hands of "ownership" before you buy it off the shelf --- so it could just be lies about it's state |

there's a health food store around 84th street and 37th Avenue but that's about it....i just visited there and most of my friends just scoffed at the idea of anything organic, let alone vegan. good luck |
