Obamacare is now a reality. When it kicks in starting this year, and then fully in 2014, then Americans will see it for what it is--the worst piece of legislation ever passed. The regulations will be draconian--bar none. It will bring America to her knees.

My 24 year old daughter called me in tears. She feels that her generation has destroyed America and that she will pay the price. She is putting herself through college but questions why. Why should she bust her butt to get an education and hopefully a job (she wants to be an entrepreneur)if all it means is higher taxes in order to pull the weight of so many who are allowed to collect welfare and food stamps and whatever else is available. She has no motivation at the moment. Why should she?

I am self employed and my discretionary income, after owning my business for over 15 years, has been less in the past 3 years that at any time. I work longer hours for less.

I am trying to be positive and tell myself that my life tomorrow will be no different than it was today. But that is not true. Today I woke up with hope for a brighter future, tomorrow that hope will not exist. I feel hopeless and helpless.
