this is a recipe that i have used, except i didn't use candied fruit, i used coconut and macidamia nuts.

i loved every slice.

PECAN FRUIT CAKE

1 1/2 lbs. pitted dates
8 c. pecans, chopped
2 c. sifted cake flour
