No candidate in history up for re-election has ever lost that many votes and won. The last time a candidate lost votes in for re-elections was Franklin Roosevelt. It was mere fluctuations though only throughtout his 3 re-elections. I think the most was 1-1.5 million for his last term. |

Daniel of the Rose User ID: 15114131 United States 11/08/2012 07:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It is being widely reported that there were 117 million votes cast: 60 million Obama and 57+ million for Romney. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27253156 This is down 13 million from 2008 total of 131.4 million. In 2008 it is recorded that 100 million whites cast a vote representing 74% of the total and the minority share of the vote was 26%. Now they are reporting out of a total of 117 million votes, whites cast 72% and minorities cast 28%. That means that only 84 million whites voted in 2012 down 16 million from the 100 million whites who voted in 2008. Extrapolating from that, we have to say that 3 million more minorities voted in 2012 than in 2008. In 2010 the resident population of voting age (including aliens of voting age) was 234,564,000. This was an increase in resident population of almost 5 million from the 2008 figure. Yet we are expected to believe that there was a net loss of votes of 13 million representing 16 million fewer white voters and an additional 3 million minority voters. I mean, this is just NOT BELIEVABLE. I refer you to a chart of all the Presidential elections from 1932 -2010. [link to www.census.gov] As you can see, as the population increases, the number of voters increases in every election cycle except when Clinton ran for re-election against Dole. Not a hotly contested election. Kind of a walk away for Clinton. And, even with this....the drop in voters is not near 13 million, and 16 million whites. This turn out and loss of 16 million whites in a hotly contested election such as this one is absolutely NOT believable. What is really going on? Lots of folks have been saying that ones voting for Romney.....there votes were placed in a box.....and were not treated like the others.... i don't know...but heard more of these claims on the radio as well... this is like FLORIDA(2nd bush term election) but on a larger scale |

You've still got 2016. No, not at all. I'm upset because our current president is a classless, corrupt, incompetent person to be sitting in the office of the POTUS. He's only there because of the color of his skin, no other reason. His policies are destroying the US. I'm also upset because there are so many people that see these same things, and didn't vote. They are ready to let the US hit bottom, just like an alcoholic, in hopes it will pick itself back up. It's people like you that will regret your own actions one day. I'm upset because it's so sad people like you weren't educated to know the difference. Maybe the folks that want to let the US drop on their face were right...at this point though, I don't think it will matter. You and your ilk have taken us too far down the wrong path. |

In my area it was WAY up, mid missouri. I honestly believe we have no say in who becomes president, and voter fraud is rampant, even though it also does no good! “One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.” – Carl Sagan |

On October 26, 2012 Gallup published turnout estimates based on its "likely voter" polling. White: 78% (same as 2008) Actual white turnout: 72%. Realclearpolitics reports that white turnout declined in ABSOLUTE terms by 7 million people. So .. in the week between 10/26 and 11/6, 7 million "likely voters" decided not to show up. And Romney lost? No. Massive fraud in a scale never before witnessed. If you look closely. you'll see that in every important election (presidential, senate or house), the republican was leading until the final hour or 2---then suddenly a massive dem wave of dem votes. Yeah sure. Only those that have jobs vote later in the evening---and they aren't dem voters. Flipped---all those votes were. |

I saw the writing on the wall with Romney. To be honest, if I believed in voting actually accomplishing anything, I would have voted Obama just to put the pedal to the metal for this country and let the shit hit the fan sooner so we could start the cleanup. But seeing as it's all a fucking rigged game, I knew what was coming, and I abstained from involving myself any further in this fucked up psycho experiment called the United States of America. |
