??? Why Aren't Americans Pissed At The Whole Election Process???

Shouldn't they be?

If America is ever going to once again live up to being the world's "beacon of democracy" (I know...I know...but I do believe it was there once upon a time) it is seriously going to have to get its act together regarding the fundamental foundation of democracy: a person's vote.

Seriously, Americans should be furious at the shenanigans (putting it mildly) that occur during the entire election process, questioning the actual validity of the ballot.

OCCUPY THE ELECTION PROCESS, for crying out loud!! It's an embarrassment considering we're talking about America in the 21st century.

You have to wonder if a vote in Cuba is more reliable than a vote in America.

Voters at some Virginia polls waited up to five hours to cast ballots, Florida voters received phone calls from an election official telling them the wrong day to vote, and dozens of Republican poll workers in heavily Democratic Philadelphia needed a court order to get into election locations.

It's hard to remember an election where scrutiny of voting has been so close. From new voter-ID laws to groups like True the Vote to truncated early voting, election issues have been at the forefront of the 2012 campaign story. Both parties have armies of poll watchers on hand and armies of lawyers in reserve for expected lawsuits, challenges, and recounts that could decide the outcome of the presidential election, as well as a welter of down-ballot races. (National) 11/7/2012 - AMERICA'S CLAIRVOYANT ELECTION SYSTEM - Perhaps one of the oddest moments of all during last night's live election coverage was what happened to Karl Rove on Fox Network News.

With Florida still too close to call and hundreds of thousands of votes still out in Ohio (including a large hunk of votes in Romney strongholds), and with a spread of about 100,000 votes separating the candidates in Ohio, Fox called Ohio for Obama. Karl Rove arranged to come on the Fox network to voice his rebuttal.
