Actually the latest cutting edge theories are suggesting that the entire reality we see including all the visible universe is just a holographic projection of captured data on spherical surface of the event horizon of a black hole.

well I got a lot of responses. But I can tell none of you actually looked at anything I wrote.

So, let me put up a summary.

1. You can split any experience into distinct sensations
-images
-sounds
-feelings
etc.

2. One distinct sensation is always REAL

3. You associate sensations together to form concepts

4. When you encounter new things, you believe that all aspects of that thing will meet your preconceived concept.

5. If it does, you say... it is REAL

6. If one or more aspects is different, you say, it is NOT REAL

7. However, since all distinct sensations are real. Even if something is 'not real', it is still really something in of itself. You simply have to come up with a new concept.

I think this is put better on the website. But I hope this makes sense here.

Non-existance could be non-existant. So imagination can be considered as real as reality.

everything is an illusion, our brains are near real-time chemical synthesizers of the input from the environmental via our senses.

we dont hear air pressure our mind makes up the sound, we dont see the object just the light bouncing off it.
