Ron Paul wouldn't get 16 million votes if you added 2008 and 2012 together and added a couple million.

Your pleasure from voting for Obama might wear off in the coming years. But like the thrill of jerking off, you'll always have that fleeting moment of pleasure to look back on, when you lose your job, your house, your spouse, your car, etc. Or if you're especially lucky you and everyone will get to experience an EMP attack from Iran because Obama refused to step up. You'll have fire, starvation and pestilence to look forward to. But you got to vote for Obama in place of Ron Paul...that makes all the rest worth it.
