Albino raccoon dog found in Fukushima

Looks like an albino 'coon to me.
Could be a natural aberration.
I've seen albino deer several times in the wild.
They found another albino in Fukiu.
Ferret or something.

If it's an albino, why does it have black pigmentation? If it's albino, it should not so maybe it's just some type of color mutation...

and also not from 2011!

It is to early for genetic Defects,

There can be degrees of albinism.
A true albino has no pigmentation.
There are often seen piebald deer.
Polar bears are white but not albino.
Their skin is black..

Yes. From what I have read, I would have to guess this creature isn't actually an albino but perhaps some sort of color variation/mutation.

It's snout is long and skinny, looks like a fox to me.

Here in S.E. Wisconsin we do a bit of trapping of raccoons, and their coloration varies from nearly solid black to very light grey.
