Jimmy Carter a bastard? Most young folks don't realize how common bastard children were in the last century and before. Very, very common. Things were SO different before the pill and medical (not back street) abortions.

So, yes, if his mom worked for the Kennedy family he might well be related. Joe Kennedy was infamous for making demands on women.

The resemblance is remarkable, especially the early years, to the other Kennedy brothers. The ears and jaw....This proves nothing, but if it was common knowledge,it's probably true. The Kennedys probably also found a suitable sire for the boy. Bet he was a cousin.

Don't know, but it does explain how a nobody farmer's son in Georgia had such a meteoric rise to DNC chairman and then president so quickly. It just didn't make sense. This takes big money and organization, and the peanut farmer had none visible.

Certainly wouldn't write off Jim Willie because he outed this relationship, although can't imagine why he thought it pertinent to his readership.
