True story;

I knew this little boy who would only eat hot dogs. Not even the bun.. only cold or boiled hot dogs.
His mom was going crazy because her kid was a tyrant and he'd tamtrum and scream if she tried to feed him anything else. They lived in a cheap apt. and she was afraid that somebody would call CPS and report her because the kid would scream so much.
The dad was in jail.
She was living on edge because of the kid's angry & physically abusive behavior and so she kept him out of school alot - he hit and bit.
The boy watched tv all day or played Nintendo games.

By eleven year old, he was too big to handle and he struck his mom, knocking her out cold. Five years later he was in juvenile hall for drugs, alcohol, lying to police and assault charges.
I don't know how he is doing today but I'm pretty sure he's not a vegan pacifist.

Tell that story.
Handling a major fuss-attack at 5 years old is better than when they weigh more than you do.
