Thinking about all of the high ranking military men who have been relieved of their duties recently, I have been wondering if it's possible a Coup is/was in the works.
What made me start thinking about that is the recent news of the Commanding Officer of the frigate Vandergrift and three other key officers were "fired (sic) after an investigation found drunken behavior and inappropriate misconduct during a September port visit in Russia, the Navy announced late Friday".
First, I don't think anyone in the Navy can be fired, but 3 key officers were also removed.
Next, sailors getting drunk in Russia? That's bad? Do Russian sailors not get drunk in Russian ports? That started me thinking, what could our US Sailors have done to warrant 4 officers on one ship being removed?

This and the fact that other high ranking military have been relieved of their duties recently in connection with Benghazi.
General Carter Ham, US Army (Head of Africom)
Rear Adm. Charles M. Gaouette (Head of Middle East Strike Group)
The indication is that both disobeyed orders to NOT send in support for the US Ambassador C. Stevens in Libya when he called for it, were going to send in support and were relieved of their duties immediately by the next in command from direct orders (Obama, Clinton, Panetta).
Of course we also have the head of the CIA who stepped down due to a marital affair. Could a Coup be the reason his emails were being investigated and this affair is a red herring?
The ex-Navy Seals who were killed on 9/11 were there of their own attempts to hold off the insurgent attacks until help arrived. Of course, we also have BHO taking credit for killing Bin Laden as opposed to Navy Seals Team 6, who were all killed in a helicopter crash.
I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, but Patraeus' stepping down is just fishy as hell to me and got me thinking about how much the military men and women must be resenting blame being placed on their leaders in order to hide/protect this administration.
Fuck the military coup. We're not a 3rd world banana republic in Africa, South America or Middle effin' East.
And I don't say because I am an Obama fan. I loathe that liar and his puppet master George Soros, William Ayres, Saudi Arabia king Abdullah.
Had I been old enough, I would have reluctantly voted for Romney.
But that's besides the point. Point is: one of the main lessons a child can learn in life is that in the "real world", there are NO SHORT-CUTS.
For example: the Republican Party may have spent a whopping billion dollars on election campaigns, but unlike the Obama Machine which was absolutely flawless & amazing... Republicans were mediocre when it comes to propaganda, TV ads, talking points, the RNC in Tampa, the debates prep, the strategy... evetything, except for Romney's triumphant 1st debate, pretty much.
Republicans KNEW Obama would cheat to win the election -- and they couldn't even so much as put up a fight in Ohio, Virginia, Colorado or Florida.
It's as if GOP didn't really WANT the 2012 elections. It's as if they don't want the head-ache of having to solve all the world's problems during an economic crisis.
No, instead of uniting to defeat Obama, GOP preferred to spend their time in petty squabbles between Ron Paul people, the Tea Party people and the Establishment people.....all while Obama rode a terrible economy and lies into the White House for the 2nd time.
So now that GOP have proven to be utterly unteresting, uninterested and ineffective
for the last 6 years.... they want the US Military
to come swooping in and save the day like in some silent Rudolph Valentino epic from 1920's?????
So that America loses whatever moral highground it has left and becomes a total LAUGHING STOCK on the world stage??? Like we're the next Mali or Mauritania?
Now THAT's some delusional, magical thinking on part of the Republican faithful, I'll tell you that much.
Well I say, Fuck that! Sorry, but it takes years of HARD WORK, innovative strategy, state-of-the-art technologies -- not to mention, GREAT CANDIDATES.... in order to win and hold power in the US.
That's the whole point of the American system, the Constitution and the Madison-ian system of checks and balances.
There is a lesson for GOP to be learned from Obama. That motherfucker was patient, he was groomed for his current office not just for years but for decades--- and depiste a terrible economy & tough opposition, he did the right things to prevail.
Republicans should have found their own Bill Clinton. Their own Barack Obama. Their own Marko Rubio. Oh wait, they already have Rubio. And Chris Christie is not so bad.
Well, that's what I call a good start. Now build on that, GOP. Otherwise, if you continue to be mediocre, Hillary Clinton or a Hispanic version of Obama will come along in 2016 and break your hearts again.
