Without a doubt it is kind of like a thing in my family. When my grandfather was in WW2 somehow he ended up on a freighter full of supplies after he was wounded. It started sinking fast and many of the crew were injured plus it was bitter cold. The ship had a bernese mountain dog it was huge my grandfather wounded helped the other men on the life raft let them go away from the ship went back got the dog and he and the dog swam back to the life raft. |

She is trained to attack on command and though we have 4 dogs, that are all trained she is the only female we have and she seems to be much more protective than the males for some reason. But none the less they are all our children and mean the world to us. |
