Report Copyright Violation | 1959 atomic bomb blast effects video shows a military trailer with a satellite dish mounted. I know our first successful satellite launch was in 1958 and named Explorer 1, but at this time there were only 2 satellites in orbit. Sputnik just beeped, and Explorer 1 detected radiation. Why would that trailer be equipped with a fairly serious looking satellite dish? Appears at 6:50 in the clip. [ link to www.youtube.com] |
