Hah, we had our language established eons before others ... you must be meaning they don't speak german ... should they? Ridiculous. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26203032 Pues anda más un caballero que vive un bribón. A Spaniard is asking if an immigrant should be expected to speak German in Germany. The EU project, in microcosm right there. It never had a chance of working. The price germany had to pay after losing WW II Feeding the rest of europe and get it`s wealth stolen. Well. times are changing for good. or possibly this is germanys payback on the rest of us because they lost either way, its germany. pain in the arse SORRY GERMANS, its not you (well, not the majority), its your politicians and whoever is pulling their strings Well yes, I think if it were put to a vote of the Germans, the plug would have been pulled a while ago -- take the losses and move on. |

WHO BROUGHT THE ECONOMY DOWN --> the banks WHO SUPPORTED THEM --> the taxpayer WHO SHOULD PAY --> those who benefitted So why is the taxpayer being asked to pay? |

Just kick all banksters and multinational burglars out of our countries already!! Really! All pharmaceutics companies, all banks, all shopping centers should have ALL their money confiscated and used to restore the financial situation of that country's own citizens. The owners should be kicked out and BANNED from the country. Also all politicians should be banned. It's time for REAL demo-cracy, the one where the people are actually in power. Better yet, put all them bastards on a space station and send them to Betelgeuse |

You see, once the Euro would be history and the EU members were returning to their own currency, then German, British, American and Chinese investors would buy up your countries for pennies. That's what your new currencies will be worth, thus your country. With each strike you prove that your new currencies are worth less and less. The cheaper you could be bought up later. Here in Germany a lot of people work for 7, sometimes less than 5 Euros an hour - before taxes and baring the high German costs of living! We have to work until 67 and we only get full pension when we have worked fulltime for 40 years... which rarely is the case. A lot of us die working. We build (arguably) the best cars in the world, the best machinery, we go to work everyday, rain or shine. But if you show us you are not worth the effort, you will not be supported by us anymore, but you will be a competitor. Are you ready for this? You won't win that competition by striking and demanding more than you deserve. |

This will be cut more off course with the austerity they passed last week. Private sector is off course negotiable and depending on experience, but lots of people working in the private sector are unpaid for months in many businesses that face problems. It's very hard to live with this kind of money, everything gets more and more expensive, wish you the best. |

Very true, wouldn't complain tbh if services and products prices fell down accordingly to the cuts, but for a small home in Athens you need 300-400 euros per month without the utilities. No one can live with 400 euros per month and everything getting more expensive, income taxation doubled and 15 new extra taxes, it's a madness. |
