Regular quakes recently near Dieppe, Haute-Normandie, France
I have a look at [link to hisz.rsoe.hu] most days and have noticed that Dieppe have had a quake almost every day in the last week or so. I've noticed as the map erroneously puts the quake icon over where I live in the UK.

There is no fault line there so what could be causing so many quakes? Fracking?
The only info I have found states that the area averages 1 quake every 50 years!!
Well.. not recently!

Maybe a sinkhole opening up, or a vent?
I try to imagine what happened in that region last time there where major earth changes.
When you look at the coast in calais and you cross the english channel and look at the coast over there, it just looks like great britain broke off of mainland europe and slipped towards the usa for a couple of kilometers.
While if you look at the dutch coast and the "corresponding'" coast across the english channel, it just appears to have sunk a little.
I remember reading one here an article about researchers finding the remains of an old dock just a few 100m's out of the coastline of england (toward denmark)

The part of the coast at calais ant he corresponding coastline in britain also appera to have risen, when you look at the composition of the sediment at these coasts.
it looks like it was the bottom of the ocean for a while.

I live in North Kent. I have read somewhere that there is a fault line running through the English Channel close to Dover which has caused probs in the past but these quakes are closer to France.
