Original Petraeus / CIA report on Benghazi edited by OBAMA CAMPAIGN, removed "terrorism" reference... Petraeus testified today that his original report was altered and redacted by someone within the Administration for the benefit of the Obama campaign. High crimes and misdemeanors here. This is impeachable! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23159922 More to come................. Quit putting you're spin on what Petraeus said....this is not what he said. Wait for the damn facts to come out. And then if this holds..... We will all have something to talk about. This is exactly what King said Petraeus said in the hearing. I saw the interview on Cspan today and that's exactly how Sen King described it. He did clarify that "Administration" includes defense department, state department, etc. and that when it got through all those agencies it had been altered. |

Original Petraeus / CIA report on Benghazi edited by OBAMA CAMPAIGN, removed "terrorism" reference... Oh please.... They changed a word in a report....Impeachment....arrest... Col. Hasan attacked a US military base killing 13 Americans in the worst case of terrorism on US soil since September 11th... The FBI knew, before the attack, that Hasan was in contact with Anwar al-Awlaki, who was a leader of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula...But they thought that was okay.... It could be related to Hasan's work as a psychiatrist... In the aftermath of the attack, the US government refused to call it terrorism... To this day, DOD still refuses to call Col. Hasan's shooting spree a terrorist attack. Instead, they have classified it as workplace violence.... How is this worse? Focus on something that is actually important.... Like why we used Islamists to overthrow the Libyan gov't.... Why the US Gov't routinely lies to its citizens... Why the US gov't was able to use drones to kill US citizen al-Awlaki without a trial. If that was acceptable, why the US Gov't was able to kill, w/o trial, Al-Awlaki's teen-aged son... And here's the big question...Why has your gov't become a fascist state? They took away your basic human rights b/c of the threat of terrorism. Now they are allied with the terrorists, and you are worried about the wording in a report? WOW... |

Here is EXACTLY what he said: "He (Petraeus) ... stated that he thought all along he made it clear that there was significant terrorist involvement, and that is not my recollection of what he told us on September 14," King said. "The clear impression we were given (in September) was that the overwhelming amount of evidence was that it arose out of a spontaneous demonstration, and was not a terrorist attack," he said. |
