You cool the copperpipe with a damp cloth and cool breeze, cheap and works great after unit is built. Check out youtube for videos.... Quoting: McMiller thank you i will check it out don't. you can't distill water with copper tubing, it will poison it. use inox. (and yes, you can distill alcohol in copper tubing, without problems). |

I don't want to drill a a hole on the drain pipe under the sink for an under counter RO system because i have an old copper pipe... thanks a lot guys i BOUGHT ONE TWO YEARS AGO IT IS INCREDIBLE IT REMOVES ALL THE RADIATION FROM MY WATER I BOUGHT IT THROUGH AMAZON... RO will remove fluoride but is very expensive and the filters build up with bacteria. Also there is the a very inexpensive filter called "zero water" that will remove virtually all of the fluoride and has a meter. that is a good place to start before you can afford a good distiller (500 bucks) [link to www.zerowater.com] its 34 bucks |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26329297 lol i guess you should go in the back yard and get a spoonful of dirt to make your water healthy. how they cna get people believing pure is bad is beyond my understanding... |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26329297 so pure is bad huh LOL! i guess we shoul go out back and add some dirt to the purifird water, idiot No purification such as berkey is not filtering really. Real filtering removes everything from the water it is 100% clean but dead. You can get an alkalizing filter to add to your RO filter they are cheap it puts the minerals back in it. It makes it like the water that has dripped through rock like drips from the end of a Stalagmite. [link to www.clarencewaterfilters.com.au] Thanks for being a retard. |

"leaves healthy minerals" what a joke, that is dirt. ...distilled water is the VERY BEST water period, next to Rain which is how god makes water. berky is a overpriced joke might as well use a cheap brita filter. |
Nyte User ID: 22394625 United States 11/17/2012 03:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Had an RO unit in my last house and loved it. I bought a Krystal Pure and it was the best. I'm using a Berkey with Black Filters and Heavy Metal Filters. I'm in a condo atm while I build my next house... it's ok. It'll do as a temporary solution. Using an electronic particulate meter the RO water would test around 5-8 PPM (tap water around 800 PPM - very hard water). The Berkey tested around 110-120 PPM, but tap water is only around 150 PPM in this condo. Hope that helps. Last Edited by PirateMonkey on 11/17/2012 03:38 PM 7/11 was a part time job!
