Re: a poem for the lonely
Another night lost in loneliness
wishing you were here,
huddled by the fire for warmth
flames reflecting off my tears.

this bitter cold feels worse inside,
will this torment never cease?
I lost the best thing in my life,
now shivering i beg for peace.

let my heart be forever numb,
lack of is better than pain,
i miss your touch more everyday
this yearning driving me insane.

blanket wrapped as you once were
sheltering me from cold
but as the wood cracks from the heat
all i wish is for you to hold.

the heat a reminder of your love,
i pull closer and closer still,
this moth flies to the flame of passion,
as natural as natures will.

alone, lonely but unafraid,
i sit by this fire,
for eternity i will wait,
for just one second of your desire.

Excellent OP - I admire people who can speak from their heart and write poetry like this. It must be therapeutic.

I wrote this to my ex, never got a reply back tho lol:

Eternity is but, a blink of god's eye
how blind I'd be
to deny
not a day, an hour, a minute goes by,
i forget Your not by my side.
Time stretches on,
like a sapling reaching through the dark
canopied in the wilderness
Hoping to again be touched by your light.
So i lay low on forest floor
in this bed of fallen leaves
and see your face among all the creatures
that pass & creep
as i continue to grow, yet gently weep.

This is my favorite band - The Living End - song for the lonely

[link to www.youtube.com]
It is a lot easier to lie when you are the only one who knows the truth than it is to find the truth when all you know is lies.

Remember people the revolution starts with you.
Sorry my mistake.
Revolution starts with R.
Change begins with.....nope that begins with C
Hold on I am sure I will get this.
Progress begin....damn.

Oh I got it
Youthfulness begins with you, so do your part and be childish
And remember you can not spell awesome without ME.

Re: a poem for the lonely
Fill me...

Fill me with that strong warmth that hits the pit of my stomach...

With that bitter sweet taste that caresses my tongue...

Fill me with every inhibition ever known...

Give me the strength to hold my own...

Fill me with your smooth talk and hot embrace...

I hear your sweet voice calling...

Just a little out of reach...

You’re sleek and beautiful...

Full of past and brown as earth and even stronger...

You give me strength and never fail me....

Fill me love ...

Intoxicate me with your perfume....

That embracing perfume that envelopes my nose and body.... that perfume that haunts me...

put yourself on my lips...

seduce me with your deadly kiss...

fill me....

Send "Song For The Lonely" Ringtone to your cell
Life on a razorblade
History on replay
Heading for judgement day
The architects of fate
Decide the next mistake

This is an energy
This is the only way
No time to hesitate
I'm getting on that train
This revolutions late

This song's for the lonely

Another chance to make
Another point to make
Why do I hesitate?
Come on and give me a sign
Sign

We're in the moment now
We're back inside the crowd
There is no slowing down
The rhythm of the times
Times

We always knew that we would win the war
But we never knew what we were fighting for
This song's for the lonely
You're not the only ones
This song's for the lonely

Love is a warning we don't believe
Love is whatever we want it to be
Love is divided with nothing in between
We're living inside a dream

We always knew that we would win the war
We never knew what we were fighting for
This song's for the lonely
You're not the only one's
This song's for the lonely

Woke up this morning, and you were gone,

I read your note, it said so long,

You were my girl, but now you're not,

I hope you die, I hope you rot.
I never forgive and I never forget

I like it but I can't say that the speaker is very set on moving on tounge.

I can remember the times
I had care in my heart
Every time I think of you
I never thought we'd be apart

One day it happened though
I became aware of your games
It was at that moment then
I wished I could forget your name

Ever since that day
I've never felt the same
The fault was not with you
I have only myself to blame
We were meant to live for so much more, have we lost ourselves?

Alone

From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
Then- in my childhood, in the dawn
Of a most stormy life- was drawn
From every depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, or the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that round me rolled
In its autumn tint of gold,
From the lightning in the sky
As it passed me flying by,
From the thunder and the storm,
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.

~ Edgar Allan Poe
Saptaparna ~
Seven-leaves, sevenfold; the man-plant, sevenfold man, seven-principled human being.
~ Spinning infinity. The wheel is spinning me and it's never ending.
~ What if I say I'm not like the others? What if I say I'm not just another one of of your plays?

It's better to feel (pain) than to numb it down.
We have to suffer in order to enjoy.

As long you have yourself, you are not alone!

There's a still in the street outside your window Your keeping secrets on your pillow Let me inside, no cause for alarm I promise tonight not do no harm I promise ya, babe, I won't do ya no harm

And we're caught within the crossfire Of heaven and hell And we're searchin' for shelter

Lay your body down

Watching you dress as you turn down the lights I forget all about the storm outside Dark clouds roll their way over town Heartache and pain came a-pouring down Like hail, sleet and rain, yeah, they're handing it out

And we're caught within the crossfire Of heaven and hell And we're searchin' for shelter

Lay your body down

Tell the devil that he can go back from where he came His fiery arrows drew their beat in vain And when the hardest part is over, we'll be here And our dreams will break the boundaries of our fear The boundaries of our fear

Lay your body down

Next to mine

Standing By

Like the flower, with petals spread,
For the butterfly, is plucked instead;
So 'oft we find, when we're alone,
In the body lives, a heart of stone.

That beats transfixed, the endless day,
Vibrating love it can't convey;
Yet would intone, till hills resound,
"Life has begun, my loves been found!"

Since Adam took the second bite,
Your not alone, and in the night;
Remember He is standing by,
And if needed, SO AM I !
