Regrets are born not unwed dreams,
'Oft conceived in romantic schemes;
But those who sow not dreams in time,
Will find loves withered, on the vine.

Nor with a user, would I tarry,
For smooth tongue losers, feign to marry;
But say to those, with whom they sleep,
" Who buys the cow, when creams so cheap ?"

Cleave then to one, who asks for naught,
Contented with, what God hath wrought;
Who needs your love, and in love will live,
To return tenfold, all that you give !

The Dreamer's Dream

Somewhere in the universe
Far beyond the darkest dark
There where stars don't sparkle
And the moons don't shine
I hide my soul in emptiness
And cut the lifeless line

Somewhere down the waterfront
Far below the deepest deep
There where cold gets colder
And life is nowhere near
I hide my heart in loneliness
And cry the tearless tear

But somewhere in eternity
Far behind the timeless time
There where distance dominates
And silence rules the word
I'll save my soul from endlessnes
And fight the hurting hurt

For somewhere in the darkest skies
There shines my brightest bright
And I know I will rise again
Make sure my rays will beam
I'll soak my heart in happiness
And live the dreamer's dream

I wrote this to my ex, never got a reply back tho lol:

Eternity is but, a blink of god's eye
how blind I'd be
to deny
not a day, an hour, a minute goes by,
i forget Your not by my side.
Time stretches on,
like a sapling reaching through the dark
canopied in the wilderness
Hoping to again be touched by your light.
So i lay low on forest floor
in this bed of fallen leaves
and see your face among all the creatures
that pass & creep
as i continue to grow, yet gently weep.
