Something in him shines brighter then any star. There is a bright future with this kid. He built batteries and stuff out of TRASH. Imagine what he can do for the world if he was given proper education and resources. You just never know we might have a moder day Nikola Tesla or a modern day Piccaso out there in the slums of the world. But unfornatly there are those out there who do not one to realize there full potential. This should be an example to the people of the world. So what if he is black? Does not matter. People here are so ignorant. "Big deal...other american kids build radios all the time" <---How do you want to make the world a batter place when you have this type of arrogant mentality? Amazing. 5 stars. |

You might blame it on some far out entity but that just means you will NEVER be an inspiration for brilliant minds around you and in turn, you become the problem you describe. |

College is just a medium to jump us into the debt game, socialize us, indoctrinate us, teach us to be good employees, teach us to do what we're told, teach us that we're too smart to ascribe ourselves to God, teach us to look down on those who didn't attend college, etc. The smartest people I know did not go to college... The world's richest men either dropped out, or saw it as a waste of time from the beginning. College is just a game that most have to play in order to get that sheep skin, to get a decent job. Obviously, corporate America is in bed with the Universities, as they know their college degree requirement keeps the big business of college profitable. It's that 'you rub my back, I'll rub your back system'. Most of what we learn is obsolete, if we're lucky enough to get a job. Take school teachers for instance, they can't get any respect until they get a Master's degree. They have no clue, they are being coaxed into dishing out more money for an unnecessary degree. Why in the hell does a elementary school teacher need a master's degree? It's no coincidence, that most teachers convey a certain arrogance (the acquisition of a so called higher level degree gives a false sense of importance, I see it all of the time), and they don't know anything. It amazes me.... This child is quite impressive, but he demonstrates the power of curiosity and a willingness to seek his own knowledge (read). |

The kid is great. We all are great and gifted and had we all the freedom in the world to pursue our dreams without having to go through the assembly line, perhaps we would all make individual differences in our lives and to the world. Instead, we end up integrated and falling under the pyramid of control in all the many systems of the world. MIT is using this boy as a poster boy to promote their globalist agenda....To make you think you can make a difference when in actual fact they won't allow you to unless it suits their agenda.......To integrate other would be inventors and great minds under their system and into their global village. The best that can happen is that this boy and others like him, get their great inventions buried or used against mankind. Their great efforts of creating true freedom for humanity will never see the light of day as the government hates competition. Whatever happened to Teslar and his inventions? So do not fall for this propaganda they are pushing with this boy. We are all capable of this and more but the pyramidical system of catch them young, trauma based and Problem Reaction Solution we have all been subjected to since birth have divorced many from their true nature as a creationary force. I think its great that they got him out to experience part of the world - because he can take that knowledge back home. Quoting: ifSHTF I think he's definitely an asset to his community, but I wouldn't go so far as to say he's wowing our best and brightest minds at MIT. In fact, I think his gift is more important than having a ground breaking high IQ that would WOW MIT residents - Kelvin has a sincere passion to help people and that is far more admirable than simply having a high IQ. Well if it did then MIT has fallen. By looking at most of the places of learning I'd say it's likely MIT has fallen. Does MIT do Affirmative Action like the other Universities? Today, they wouldn't give Einstein the time of day. He was obviously brilliant at math, but not so much at language and history, in fact he failed the entrance exam into Federal Polytechnic at Zurich. Today, he wouldn't have been able to get a degree because of that. And without a degree, no one would take him seriously and no research department would touch him with a ten foot poll. I wonder how many Einsteins we missed out on because they were either too poor to afford college, or because they had great skill in science but no so much in other subjects and therefore couldn't get their degree, as every degree nowadays demands language, philosophy, social studies, and on and on, shit that often times has nothing to do with the major itself. |

While most kids in the USA can't even add and subtract after graduating high school, this kid is building things out of garbage with little to no education. And, not just things for himself, things to help his community. He's not only brilliant, but has a heart of gold, you can see it. The world needs more humans like this boy. Beautiful story OP, thanks for sharing it. |
