Anyone ever had an experience with the spirit world they would like to share?

i didnt have any spiritual experiences but i sure am looking for one and doing a lot of research on the topic.

Ive had plenty.

I see visions sometimes. Geometrical shapes, patterns, swirls.

I see energy grids, fields, I can sense them sometimes.

Different fields have differnt shapes.

Different things have different numbers.

Smoetimes they grow infinitely large, into a giant circle, or shrink down infenitely small.

Sometimes they are different in color. Purple, red, white yellow, blue, green...

The shapes seem alive, or controlled by something.

Ive had experiences completely sober, in class.

Or during meditation.

Impossiblele to meditate when you are drunk or intoxicated,

certain psychadelics can enhance or aid in the achievement of these states, but one should strive to reach them NATURALLY...

can you somehow "summon" these visions? i mean is there anything i can do the see those vision too?

Yes, there is, but its a hard training process.

it involves breathing exercises, and certain meditation postures.

And thats just the first step.

You are also in danger of harming the internal organs, especially the heart, if you dont have proper guidance.

Fainting, convulsions, seizures, you may suffer from thesae ailments if you practice these types of meditation/trance, and you have unsufficient control over the mind, body, and breath.

Sorry, id teach you if I could, but I have honestly never taught anyone the complete system. Only parts of it.


i have not met anyone that could completely understand it yet. Though I do have friends that I have put on the path, and watch personally, with their approval of course..

Nor do I consider myself, or am seen as a spiritual teacher, or leader, merely a guide/friend.

I believe that everyone has a unique path, and a gift, that they can harness, and present to the world.

And likewise, if one is seperated, lost, or cannot find this path, they are in trouble..

Without the ability to express oneself, one is vulnerable to manipulation.

The afterlife? You mean Death? I dont think about it much, to be honest.

Have you ever had a dream, that felt so real, that you forgot about yourself in reality? and then, in this dream you die. painfully. Only to awake in your bed, that you had no previous recollection of while you were dreaming?

There is no spirit world. There is nothing drawn as a line between here and there. This earthly realm, the spiritual realms, and many other interdementional realms are all here now. Understanding this can help you better understand yourself, the world around you, others and everything.

Though you can in some way shut yourself off from exchanging with those realms, you can never escape that you are just part of a ever enlarging interdementional exchange.

But if one prectices these states, without guidance, there is a chance they can develop different problems, especially problems with the nervous system, (seizures) and the heart (fainting convulsions), simply because they are not aware of their breath.

They can also learn to develop energy, but cannot release it properly, causing a negative buildup of emotion and (ego-barriers), which is hard to remedy and takes time.

Where do I start...hmmm, I am 32, and will just list them in order past-present....(LOL, could write a book me)..



1) Age 7 - Recurring dream (6 days) of flying through a white light with objects of colors hurtling towards me..

I was told in later life that this was Astrogliding

2) Age 15 - A whole wardrobe in my mother's room swayed backwards & forwards away from the wall. Sister witnessed it. Stopped after stepping out..

Till this day, I don't know what caused that to happen..

3) Age 21 - Woke up in hot sweat after nightmare one night. Next day, Watching the news and my nightmare came true. Dreamt of plane on fire in the air, it crashed and exploded. I was witnessing this from a Hotel patio window in my dream. The news came on next day and said, a Concorde had crashed in France. The plane was on fire after it took of from the Airport and tried to turn back to land, it couldn't make it and crashed into the side of a HOTEL, exactly like my dream.

It was only a couple of years ago I researched a little into the Accident due to my premonition. I can still remember the exact layout of the hotel in the dream, so this prompted me to search for pictures of the hotel in question. My findings left me shocked...There was a picture of a room in the hotel on Google, the picture was the EXACT same layout as my dream, from the furniture placements to where the patio door windows was located, yes, Exactly the same room as in my dream...

4) Age 25 - Had various things happen to me at this age. Will just mention a few as other things are quite personal to me.. Went into some sort of trance one night, lay my head on pillow and my eyes dropped straight away. It was the weirdest feeling ever and I have never gone sleep or anything within a matter of 20 secs after putting head on pillow. In this trance, I was still aware that I was in my bed, my eyes were closed, but in this trance it was like i could see. I just saw mostly blackness and then all of sudden, seen a big bright ball of light standing next to me. I started to feel something touching my body and heard a girls voice say 'Now I've got you'. Then I came out of the trance. The reason why I called it a trance is because, I know what dreams and nightmares are, this was neither, this was something different...

After this, I found out the girls name and had various things happen around me, my partner and my young son. Toys and things has disappeared out of the flat with some of the items ending up on the street outside with no explanation of how they got there...

Years later, In the same Flat (Which I still live), other things have happened which is unexplained, like the bed being soaked by water..I'm not talking about a little patch on the bed like if my son had dropped a cup of water, these were big patches of water that sometimes stretched from one side of the mattress to the other, this leading us to have to turn the mattress over...

Also, some writing has appeared on the wall. The writing was over the top of the headboard in my bedroom...Then, couple of days later, writings appeared on my sons bedroom wall, linked to the writing in my bedroom, linked by the Name of the girl who had appeared to me in that trance..The writing had been written in makeup, makeup that my partner had lost 3-4 years back...It is only a small flat and I know everything in the flat and I can tell you, it disappeared her makeup, it just suddenly reappeared out of the blue...The makeup was found in my sons bed so what does that make you think?, that my son had done it, well, my son was just nearly hitting 3 at the time with no sense of words or writing...Beside, the writings were perfect with capital letters starting on each of the words..Still have pictures of the writing.

I think the weirdest thing that has happened to me was a few years ago. My mother gave me this old 32" TV, the ones that when you switch them off, static stays on the screen and when you pass your arm next to it, your hair stands up.. Well, one night, same flat, went to switch it off to go bed, but I totally missed the power button due to turning my head to talk to my partner..I ended up touching the screen & on touching it, I had this weirdest shock ever and heard a mans voice talking in the room...Took my hand off and I asked my partner, was she talking, she said yeah, she was talking to me..Thing is, I never heard her whatsoever, I just heard this faint mans voice but it was too muffled to recognize any words..It was weird....

I have had other things happen but like I have said, are personal...I can tell you though, I should be dead now and due to my experiences with the spirit side, I was saved and on more than one occasion...I shouldn't be here and I am thankful for being saved, however, having all this happen to me has sort of ruined my future...I am constantly looking for answers to some of the stuff that has happened to me & others and I'm getting nowhere...

With the spirit side, there is more questions than answers. I have realized now that I won't have any questions answered but will have to wait...Believe me, I have asked and received no clues to anything that has happened to me. The is a lot more to all this spirit stuff than we know...

Yeah, some people don't experience anything and they look at people like me and think WTF are you on...I am on nothing and TBH, all the things I have experienced make me wish I had been on something all my life, then I would of had a answer to why they had happened...but I haven't and never have been on anything....

There are just some things in life that were not really suppose to know about, the spirit side of things are just one of them...We will never get answers if we search, we have just got to ride life out and hopefully, at the end of this journey were on, we may get all the answers we need & crave....

WOW! Really great to have some intelligent response instead of being trolled as i expected to be! Perhaps in some way this was a tester as far i was concerned. I half exptected to log back on and feel so insulted that i would sign off permanently.

This is foremostly a genuine thread i created though folks.
Yes i have seen spirits. For want of a more acurate description, that is what i would call them.
And yes, i believe i invoked their presence, or maybe it would be more accurate to say that i made them aware of my presence??
Perhaps a bit of both really as a third non participating (non believing) witness was there (this was not a one off experience).
I believe that through meditation, i formed a 'bridge'....
I will tell my story of my experience on saturday as it's getting late here and i am visiting my family tomorrow.
Looking forward to more discussion on this very real subject.

Why did I dream that word over and over, I don't know. A lot of information was dug up on it, especially the article in my thread above too...Very strange world we live in with no real answers to why we have these things happen to us..Just wish I had answers, then i could give my brain a rest as it's hurting so much due to thinking too much about everything....

opened my eyes the other night thinking someone opened my bedroom door, but there was a man in red standing in front of my mirror, then he just disappeared..

and i was wide awake.

actually i noticed that in MY dreams,the more lucid they are the less likely i am to die because i am more in control of whats happening.
thats just a feeling though, i never actually died in a dream,but i do feel safer when my dreams are lucid and lifelike.

Thing is, it happens to a lot of people, more people than we know. A lot don't like to speak up either due to being frightened of the unknown or maybe due to the fact that their experiences were very bad...

It is hard when you believe, when you know that things are real that we can't see or hear, because you know somethings there but not getting the answers to what is REALLY there...To us believers it's hard to speak up in case of ridicule, in case of non believers thinking that your crazy...You find it hard to tell your partners, your friends and family in case they turn you away..

Before my mother died in Feb this year, I tried talking to my mother about things I have experienced. She found it hard to give me advice as she was really poorly and also due to the fact that she was told she could of been a psychic medium. She had spiritual stuff happen to her, so has my sister too...I don't know if these things run in the family or not, but it is weird that many members in the same family can experience these things..

So yeah, I wanted to talk to someone about my experiences, I choose my mum due to her past, but she wasn't in any position to help or advise me...

Do come back McQuack and share your experiences, better out than in I say...At least there is many other people out there who are in the same situation...

Op, what was your experience?

Mine lasted for a period of a couple of years and involved a "purposeful haunting" and "Spontaneous vision quests" - terms explained to me by both a famous author/shaman and a medicine man both of which I had sought explanations with.

Someone very close to me met an untimely, violent death. Apparently he felt I was also in danger from those that had facilitated his death. For those two years he manifested in every way possible both at home and at my work (which had also been his workplace). There were many witnesses to his manifestations from family, friends and co-workers. I won't go into details because it would be book length but he manifested almost daily which included full-body apparitions, signs through nature, orbs, sounds of footsteps, appearance of silver foot-prints which would disappear after 10-15 minutes, movement of objects, wall pounding (when what he deemed as enemies were were nearby), touch, scent, and many other types of contact.

I was never frightened by any of it because I knew it was him but those around me were terrified and most distanced themselves. But I think it was his intention to have some of them distance themselves from me. A few friends were fascinated by it though, as was I. It was actually very comforting to me and became a normal way of life to me.

But by far the most remarkable thing was that he would take me to somewhere, another reality, that we could actually talk to each other as we did in life. The apparitions, here in my reality, were short-lived and lasted for only moments but in the other reality we could have long conversations. It was when these "spontaneous vision quests" were occurring that I sought the help of a shaman and the medicine man. They explained that it was a place that he could temporarily stay and that I could go to also. The shaman called it "the first bardo" and the medicine man called it something else. These experiences were all spontaneous and not initiated by me.

They also explained to me that he was a spirit of great energy to be able to do all this but that the day would come when he would have to go on to his destiny when he felt he had to no longer protect me. That day did come and it was very difficult for me to accept at first. But now I am at peace with it all and thankful for the experience.

It changed my life in many ways and all good.

And for the poster who sees geometrical shapes: when I had the spontaneous "vision quests" I would feel like I was flying through geometrical shapes until I arrived to where he was. He would also manifest what I would call "light shows" here in my reality which where large displays of illuminated, floating geometrical shapes which lasted anywhere to a few minutes to 30 minutes. These displays would interact with me in that if I left the room they would follow me and if I tried to walk up to them and touch them they would back up staying just a few feet of me but out of arm's reach. These always came at times when I was feeling depressed and I think it was his way of lifting my spirits. I have researched to find others that have had experience with these light shows but have not found any yet.



It changed my life for the better and brought much peace once I understood it.

I've lived in a couple haunted houses...had things sit down next to me on the bed etc. But the weirdest thing was a few years ago when I got a new camera and started to see them in the background of the pics. So like I'd seen them doing on a TV show...I started to ask them to show themselves. they did. Then I was taking a pic in an area that has very bad vibes, (I am sensitive to that). By the third pic....my camera freaked out...started zooming in and out and snapping off pics on its own. I kept trying to turn it off...it wouldn't go off. This lasted for about 30 seconds. I was afraid it was going to break the camera and shouted out "Stop it! Stop in NOW" and then it stopped. The camera now makes a loud focusing noise whenever I use it. But I have since stopped talking to them, cause they will show up and not always in a non destructive way.

Ok, where do i begin... I've always had an interest in this subject, perhaps this comes from my mothers' experiences she told me about. I could talk of other things i experienced, like the day my best friend died or the day my wife suffered a miscarraige.
Instead i will talk about what brought me take things a step further and actively become involved with spirit.
What prompted me i guess was when a relative was involved i
n a fatal rta which killed her husband and left her lying in hospital in a coma, unaware of her husbands' death. This was a truly horrendous time for the family and the feeling of helplessness really affected me.This was about 8yrs ago.
several months after the funeral, i was doing work around the outside of the house and i just felt the urge to try spiritual healing. It was a beautiful day.
That afternoon i called a spiritual healing centre in the city and booked myself to attend the next block of classes, which was in a few weeks time. Amusingly and by pure coincedence my employer booked me on a first aid course and this landed on the very same day, so it was to be first aid during the day and spiritual healing/awareness in the evening.
That first class i attended was a really nice experience, the people were all lovely. We all sat in a circle and held hands during a meditation. To my right sat a german lady who was about 4 months pregnant and to my left sat an older lady who was a reiki master. It was not long before i felt energy around us all, hard to describe this but i also physically felt energy flowing through us all, travelling in a clockwise direction through our joined hands. I felt a frequency in this energy as it flowed, in my right hand i felt steady and constant pulse, (not a pulse from heartbeat i can assure you!) the energy flowing through my right hand as it left me and passed to the next person was travelling at a much faster frequency, probably 4 times faster. This felt incredible!
I feel like im going on a bit now and probably boring you, but i find it hard to explain all of this in a few sentences. I will try and keep it as brief as possible, sorry.
In the classes that followed we worked with one anothers auras/energy fields, and yes i truly did feel them. I remember when i worked with the german lady she said she felt 3 sets of hands around her, i did not physically touch her even once.
These classes were over all to quickly each night and soon enough the course had ended. We all said our goodbyes and i left wondering if i should pursue this further.
When i had time at the weekends, i would go into a much deeper medative state. Back then my mind felt very powerful due to alot of practice in meditation and visualisation. I could flex my mind like a muscle!
My wife did not take any interest in any of this, she is very different from me that way, but she was happy for me.
My two cats however took a very different view of it all. During my meditations they would jump up on on my knees and purr loudly. This was extremely out of character for one of them, she is very ferral and would never let anyone pick her up or sit on anyones' lap. Never in all the yrs we had her would she allow this,try it at your own risk!!
Now i found myself in a situation where her or both of them would come to me as soon as i started my meditations. They would both look above my head, wide-eyed and purring loudly as i felt the enery around me grow stronger. I would feel a vortex above my head, sometimes i would feel energy almost pouring over me from above. It felt amazing and there was a great feeling of love and well being all around.
This went on for weeks, and during this period, in the evenings my wife and i would settle down to watch tv or a dvd in the dimly lit room. I became aware of shapes moving around the room. This became a nightly occurence. I never once mentioned it to my wife, i did not feel alarmed or scared in the slightest. The were always in my peripheral to the sides or above or below. They were very light in colour, almost luminous. I could not really describe their shape but they did vary in size and speed of travel. This went on for weeks. One particulary 'active' night, my wife turned round to me out of the blue and said she kept seeing 'things' flying around the room. This blew me away as i thought it was just me that was seeing them and dared not discuss it with anyone for fear of my sanity being questioned, or ridicule. I played dumb when she told me, it turned out that she had been seeing them for weeks and was questioning her own sanity!!
At that point i decided to desist from my meditations as i could see my wife was truly 'spooked'. I never once had any concern myself, i felt comforted that they were there to guard, guide and protect us as i had requested during my meditations. When i stopped all this i was actually becoming quite adept, in seconds i could get myself in the correct state and simply mentally saying 'spirit be with me' would make things happen.
I miss those times and felt that i was getting closer to real mediumship. Maybe one day i will 'open the box' again and pick up from where i left off....
