I'm very curious to find out how the supposedly "unfound" sulphur mine attempts from some the 40's negated their looking for sulphur now. The casings and plugs are almost 70 years old, and are very close to the sinkhole.

HA! Well, the wiki link was been rewritten, now featuring copper instead of sulphur. This is how it started...but, I have to leave out the company name:
