There's no where to run to. No place offers freedom. Big international banks own entire countries and all resources, land and water. Because of estate taxes, they've made it impossible to pass down small businesses, a small farm or even a house to your kids. Because of regulations, what's left of small family farms will disappear. Because of high property taxes, the old will lose their houses. If you have land the elite want like a house on the beach or near a like or in the mountains, the elite will take it for develpment and will offer you little for it.

Freedom isn't free you moran....people have died to create it, and preserve it.....and so it will be over and over.

Some of us are all about it already, but, you have to be realistic. you are giving up certain things, but, gaining others by leaving. You have to weigh the odds.

You may be giving up 'big brother', but you may be trading it for a more obviously corrupt government that can openly abuse you- or frame you- or worse.

You may be giving up government regulations on every detail of what you can do in your home, but, you will also be getting new neighbors that have no regulations- and perhaps some dangerously bad ideas.

Tou are also leaving a relatively safe country where you do have some rights and are giving them up for a place where you have none- and, sometimes can be thrown in jail without ever seeing a courtroom.

IT is all a matter of perspective and risk. Which is right for you only you can decide.

I am a single mother of 4. We are leaving. WE found where we want to be. However, while there I was kidnapped and held for 2 hours, sexually assaulted, thrown from a moving vehicle and they nearly killed my friend.

This sucked, but, statistically isn't that common... I know from many friends that they would never go back. But, the beauty in other areas was so much, and the people so wonderful I couldn't let this one experience cloud my judgement of where we wanted to live.

Simply, think about it- and good luck.

Take a cruise that leaves from and returns to the port of Miami, Florida and has the port of call of the U.S. Virgin Island of St. Thomas.

You don't need a passport to board the cruise ship and you only need your shipboard picture ID to disembark from the ship in St. Thomas. When you get off the ship take all of your belongings with you in a backpack or what looks like a "beach" bag.

Once in St. Thomas, take a "sight-seeing" boat to the nearby U.S. Virgin Island of St. John. Once on St. John, take the ferry to the British Virgin Island of Tortola.

Tortola is the main island in the British Virgin Islands.
You can establish residency in Tortola or you can take a different cruise ship out of Tortola and go to a number of other destinations that are not American territories.

For instance, you could travel by boat to where Tortola's airport is located which is on the nearby British Virgin Island called Beef island and take an airplane to the island of St. Maarten.

One half of St. Maarten is Dutch and the other half is French, take your pick. As a tourist, you can freely move from one side of St. Maarten to the other.

From St. Maarten you could also travel by boat or plane to a number of other non-American destinations and establish residency.

Stay in the USA but head for higher ground. Idaho has good rental homes if you can't buy. Check out the flood maps...above Boise is a good bet. good weather, grow food, only a fraction of the people that are everyone else.
