Thought on Israel/Hamas Conflict

I think that this recent stint of hostilities between Israel and Palestine was to gather intel on exactly how the Israeli's Iron Dome worked. This intel would be used in order to properly plan a more aggressive/productive attack against Israel in the near future. Iran and the middle east will not stop till Israel is destroyed or an act of God compells them to live in peace....hmmm the first scenerio being more likely. Now Israeli's adversaries know what they are up against and can plan a strike that can overwelm the missile defense system. Say a multi-front attack perhaps?
