and apply the scientific method something like:

1) Observation

Crop circles are very complicated patterns formed in wheat fields.

2) Hypothesis

Crop circles can be created by humans.

3) Testing

Duplicate a complex crop circle under observable and measurable conditions in several locations.

4) Peer review

Have several teams of people create the same crop circle and observe and measure their results. Review all the results of the teams.

5) Conclusions to hypothesis

Crop circles can be repeatedly created by humans.

When a fact doesn't fit Idol's view, then she simply denies its existence. When scientific research SHOWS that nodes in plants are popped due to intense heat, Idol simply says 'there was NO heat'. No Idol. You have to do better. Unless you can DISPROVE the University tests that PROVED heat causes the popping of the plant nodes then you have failed

The science is just that humans are capable of creating crop circles. Apply the science to what you think is creating the circles.

I have watched an NGC documentary showing that it is possible. Two men (from Circlemakers.org) with the mentioned equipment made a design of medium complexity in a little more than four hours.

Yes many of them are man made.

However as most of the best crop circles appear in Wiltshire,Mill hill and surrounding areas in the UK people thousands of miles away cannot make judgements to what is real and what is not.

As a UK citizen people have actually been in fields when crop circles appeared.Orbs of bright lights were seen then the crop circle appeared,in broad daylight,not night.

Farmers have reported fields being ok and a crop circle 15 minutes later,could a crop circle be manmade in 15 minutes.?

I once met a croppy in a pub in Wells near Glastonbury. He said that they used to do some of the "Julia Set". However, one day he and his croppy mates went to a field to do their stuff late at night only to find that there was a "set" already completed. They were surprised as there was no one in the field and that type of set would have taken a while. Not convinced Idol that they are "all" man made.

Idol is looking at events with a scientific perspective.

All can be explained.

But... Some of our greatest scientifics were prooven wrong, even if they had their logical explanation already made. Think of Darwin, and mister Hopkins more recently.

So only time will tell,

I wonder whether Idol would be truthful and report on a genuine paranormal phenomenon,having witnessed it herself.Does Idol at least allow for the feasability of otherworldly phenomena,or does she deny all matters other than our physical reality? I've asked her similar questions before,never ever receive a reply.How courageous.
