I love this one at high volume while taking the Ozark winding mountain roads...the lack of guardrails is a bit disturbing, though....

Then versus now..

Hearing John and Yoko's Christmas song in a store the other day reminded me once again of the evil scum that now inhabit this world, and their efforts to divide and conquer the masses for (their own) personal gain. Back when that song came out we were so innocent and full of hope. Something has happened since then..

I never saw any racism (or hate) when I was a kid. Sure, we heard some old old 'KKK rumors' (from our uncles), and our teachers told us all about the Civil Rights Movement (struggle, & first-hand observations), but I can honestly say that we didn't see any of that ugliness in our school or neighborhood(s). Everyone got along great and no words were ever said on race ... or religion, either. Or on sexism.. This was the 70s.

Ask yourself, who keeps pushing the hate and the division, after peace and equality had been achieved?

John Lennon must be rolling over in his grave, seeing what has become of America since his death...

Disgusting.

I am truly SO happy to hear this!! hugs

It's gonna be a pretty awesome Christmas here too! My first niece was just born on the 14th. She is the most precious little angel! <3

I have to show you her lol. [link to imgur.com (secure)]

I'm madly in love with her!!!

My favorite uncle was literally on his death bed at the beginning of this month. Here's a couple of posts I had shared on other threads at the time...

I don't want to be a downer, but I have to ask for prayers. My (favorite) uncle is probably going to die soon. Like tonight or tomorrow soon.

He got really sick and has been in the hospital for a few days now. Today he was vomiting so bad that he inhaled it and couldn't breathe. They had to intubate him. He's unconscious. The doctor asked my mom who is in charge of making major medical decisions.

My cousin (my uncle's son) and his wife are driving to New York right now. That's where my uncle lives and where he is in the hospital.

This uncle is the father of my cousin who just passed away in March. : (
 Quoting: Simple27

I got some details this morning. He had a bowel obstruction which caused him to vomit fecal matter, which he inhaled into his lungs causing pneumonia. Doctor said he's not a good candidate for surgery so they're hoping the obstruction clears itself. It's all still unknown whether he'll make it or not. Doctor said to give it a couple of days to see what happens. : (
 Quoting: Simple27

^^^ That shit killed me inside. This man has a heart of gold, and his beautiful light just couldn't be done shining.

And it wasn't!!! A true freaking MIRACLE!

As of December 7th he started to breathe on his own again!! I texted him 6 days ago and he texted me back. He's headed in the right direction now and is 'out of the woods' so-to-speak. He's still far from 100%, but he's going to LIVE!

I am grateful. For many, many things. : )

Including these goofy socks I got today at our office swap! And the 3 Long Islands I got to drink, on the boss's dime. wink

Happy to hear that your uncle is doing better, Simple.

Every time an older relative goes into the hospital .. you worry that they may not come out (in good health again).

I hope you get to see and text him once again, and he lets you know how much you mean to him.

Thanks. yoda

I remember when that song came out. It was more like a unified celebration, as I thought at the time.

And then some threw a monkey wrench into the engine to make it all stop..

Re: GLP-Jukebox
I am a Virgo Moon!

Little tree might shine very bright in the future with all that 10th house!!!!
 Quoting: InTune4529

Yeah, she's pretty stinkin' amazing - with wildlife, poetry, painting, drawing, musical instruments, you name it. Along with her Taurus Moon, she's like Venus in the flesh in a lot of ways.

Look at where Urania is in your chart. The house it's in might give some insight as to what area of life your studies could be of the greatest fulfillment and any aspects to personal planets could reveal bumps/boons along the path of heightened awareness to be found through affairs of the house the aspected planet is in.

And you know, I have to ask...

What decan is your Moon in?

Subconscious psychology - manifest archetypal interactions through elicited emotions, particularly when it comes to synastry, is one of my niche interests :)

If I were to guess, it would be late 2nd decan of Virgo your Moon is in, and that's just because even with the sun/moon kind of opposition between 5th/11th stelliums, it feels more like a Moon-Saturn (mine's at 18 deg Virgo) kind of conversation, if you will :) Certainly doesn't feel like a Moon-Lilith one, that's at 8 deg Virgo for me, but one can never know unless one asks :Þ

And yeah... my bedroom gets rearranged - slightly almost weekly, completely - a bit more often than biannually chuckle

It's not often I drop planets into the jukebox but eh, have four days of little need to track time or worry about work.

So you like Twenty One Pilots too :)

We've seen them live twice, this backdrop piece, you gotta see... crank it up to 1080p if you can.
