Something is not right here. Why is this JST Holodeck drifting around without our Captain on the bridge? That is simply unthinkable, just as this epic music thread is unsinkable. And can someone please call that Starbucks woman and let her know that the Captain will be a little later today and to keep his spot open and not let just anybody take it while his seat is still warm?

From Captain Carter to Anonymous Captain? Well fuck that. You will never be anonymous to your crew over here Captain. You created a safe haven here, to share all kinds of everything, from just unwinding after a long day togiving comfort and hope and making people feel better in dark days to finding a spot where souls of every origin, age en character across the globe connect to have a great time together. That is what makes this place epic and what bares the true soul of this thread . People developing border crossing friendships and relationships. And in between we play some tunes, meanwhile over 13,000 pages and counting.

And from that point of view you will never be anyone else than our Captain, for as long as time and life allows us.

So with all respect, get your Captain ass back on this bridge and take your spot among those who admire, respect and love you. You are an asset that makes this site and this thread worth visiting and coming back to over and over. And let's be honest, you are not even gone for a day yet and there's these paper coffee pugs blowing all over the deck. Admit it, this place is a mezz without you. So take command of this Jukebox and lead us to that haven where the streets have no name.

I may not have been here much lately, due to a ridiculous work load which drains a lot of energy and eats up my weekends, but you are all beautiful. And this is THE place that makes me feel blessed, because you all are in it.
