But here You go! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76410507 It would be difficult to listen to every song people post. so there is definitely some picking and choosing involved but I bet more people listen than you think :) |

I'm VERY glad to be at the place again where I can and want to hear music. Led Zep does not go well with headaches and fatigue. Books do though and I read a couple of 200 plus pagers, and 1 600 page book. Binge reader. It was good for my soul while at the same time my not being here in the JB was like a knife in the gut. Need to find that balance. I'll bet there's a song about that. Hmm--Moody Blues, Question of Balance? Quoting: antitech whenever I go through phases where I feel like I'm growing spiritually I'm instantly heavily drawn towards music and then in the seasons were I'm just focusing hardcore on my 3D life and being productive for some reason I can't get into music as much. Quoting: I_am_who_I_am Thank you for that! There was a huge shift and change an growth in my life that brought me HERE in late May/early June. Like a tsunami for me. This headcold--music was totally not gonna happen. Even my crappy headset hurt. Ah but books--I have crates and shelves full of great books I have read 2,3, 4 times. I needed time to pass to make me forget a bit, making the words fresh again and it DID. Balance--that "thing" I can't locate at times, especially if my behavior affects others in my attempts to find it. Feeling like I had some kind of magical dose of well, MAGIC, from those books. Now the music is magic again as is EVERYONE here. Where are my sunglasses, lol?? |

Lol. basically I know if I made them again today the landscape of what they look like would be quite different. For one thing I didn't know I was going to be limited to only 500 so I wasn't as picky as I should have been and I would have chosen more that I thought I could use a lot and not just that GLP trolls would enjoy. But I haven't been keeping up with them lately... :-) Quoting: I_am_who_I_am Well I am known as the antitech because when I first found GLP all I had was a flip phone. Owned this never-used laptop my son set up for me in May. Before that I could see no videos, hear no music, and didn't even have an email address for like 10 years. Still using the flip phone but the MUSIC---my tsunami. I was running thru the clouds of joy when I got here. Only recently discovered how to get to any of the smiley's or whatever by accident--a simple scroll to the bottom of the page and there they were. I'm also like a 2yr old. I could read your gifs (what does that mean?) like a book too. No. 2 yrs olds have more tech knowledge than I will ever have by the time they are 5. Not a self-put down, a fact. Teachers and kindness open doors for me. |
