I would not say that, lol just a bit surprised at the blind faith and enthusiasm you have been around for awhile so I am sure you can relate, ya know Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me Quoting: Cutbait I know CB! I guess it is not per sé Trump that leads to blind faith and enthusiasm. I guess a lot of people are just fed up with traditional politics and being ignored and chained with regulations and seeing no change for the better in their personal lifes. I am a firm believer of the theory that the change does not even have a political color, but more that of finding recognition in a voice that says what is on a lot of people's minds. It is much more a process of identifying yourself with someone who breaks through the political correctness that we see around the world. Politics has become an X factor show, where one liners determine the success of someone rather than social or cultural background. I must say, it also splits up society in almost a 50/50 situation, that in the end causes more extremes, in violence, individuality and hatred towards eachother. Our society is derailing rapidly in that direction and that saddens me deeply. I don't know if Trump is the big savior that a lot of people see in him. But he did change the whole political landscape with his no nonsense approach. For that alone he does deserve the benefit of the doubt. He is right about one thing. People should grab life more by the pussy. For me, you don't have to follow someone to do that but yourself (I am not a firm believer in authority), but there are large groups that do need that encouragement through someone who voices what they think. I do respect that. I just hope people truly benefit from it, without losing an eye for those around them that have a different opinion and struggle as well. We are not all the same. Thank God we aren't. It would make this world a boring place. I believe in people and their own strenght. I believe in people helping others and combining strenghts instead of kicking and mocking someone who is already down. After all, as a society we can only get stronger together. Quoting: InterMezzo so glad I remembered Sunday beer this week... yeah, my state is the last of our republic to hold onto the laws that restrict sales of alcohol, cars, and homes on Sundays. I quite like it that way, though, it keeps the mom-and-pop small businesses able to compete with the big corporations that rely on cheap, replaceable labor and 7-day per week operations. IM, not often we share JST :) couldn't find a word weaver tune, so dream will have to do [ link to www.youtube.com (secure)] |

It will be a different Christmas this year. First one without my mom. But I am one hundred percent sure that her ever positive spirit will guide us through those days and we will share moments that made us laugh and cry. Special moments at a very special time of year, but tucked away in our hearts forever. [ link to www.youtube.com (secure)] |

See so enjoyed decorating an artificial tree that Year. She did not survive the surgery. Tree still intact, with decoration never touched much strength my friend Quoting: Cutbait I am so sorry to hear that CB. But you know what? We always want to keep our loved ones with us forever, till eternity, only to realize ourselves we can not. Instead they gave us all those precious moments to hold on to, moments that catch you unexpectedly, a breeze along the cheek, a laugh you recognise and that makes you reflect. You remember their strenght till the final moments, the positive spirit they tried to pass on to us, telling us to live life standing straight up, with an open eye and ear for what happens around us, the way they raised and shaped us. There will always be tears, from sadness, but also from laughter. Loud silent moments in a room full of family afterwards. Thoughts, reflections, always breathing through our vains and as the years progress you realize yourself too that they live in you, in the way we are. To realize yourself that is the biggest recognition you can give to the loved ones you lost. You know, we will get there. Life is beautiful, even with the sad moments.
