I witnessed a girl getting hit by a car (SUV) this morning. Really messed with my head. Can't stop thinking about it.

Was there an ambulance?

Whoa..duh, Simple . The pedestrian girl hit by car, yes?

I was on my way to work and approaching a red light. I was the first at the red light and the woman coming from my opposite direction was trying to beat the yellow light, taking a left. Those cars to her left were still at their red light. The girl was crossing the street between 2 of the cars at the red light when the woman took the left....

The thud, and then she was on the ground. She attempted to sit up at first but immediately went back down (hitting her head on the cement again).

There was a police detail to my left (girl on my right). The woman who hit her stopped. The woman that was in the car the girl was crossing infront of jumped out and yelled for the officer.

I'm almost positive the officer is the husband of a girl I went to high school with. I haven't been able to find anything online about it. I just want to know if the girl is okay. I will probably reach out to my old friend.

An ambulance and a cruiser came almost immediately.
