Glad she is ok Simple. Something similar happened to my grandpa and he didn't tell anyone...glad she reached out to you.

Thank you Spazz. Sorry to hear that about your grandpa. Older folks can be stubborn, stuck in their ways. She didn't reach out to me...I reached out to her. But I am glad she accepted my offer because pride can often get in the way with grandparents. She was crying earlier because she felt abandoned because so many of our family members aren't around. She needed some laundry done and I saw the pain in her face when she had to ask me for help. She actually asked me if SHE could do some laundry here. Ya right!!! Like I would let her do laundry. But they are our elders and took care of our parents and helped take care of us. I'm sure it's humbling (to say the least) to need your grandchild to take care of you.

I hope all is well with your gramps. : )

hugs

Oh he passed away a few years ago, we are approaching that day of celebration. He lived until just shy of 92 years old. His accident was sort of a catalyst for the other things. I am glad you are taking care of your grandma. I had the pleasure of doing the same for my grandpa, yes SO STUBBORN he was too, especially at the end. He was and is my favorite relative. He bought me my violin when I was learning how to play, put it on a greyhound bus as a package. Those were the days. I still have it.

Love your elders! Agreed.
