Oh my god no...we used to make fun of this song sooo bad when we were teenagers.

Oh my lord, it's not by Bobby Sherman, I had no idea Edison Lighthouse did it first.

It's much better by Edison and it fit's in whatever year this is. By the time Bobby Sherman did it, it was the 70's and we thought it was hysterical.

LOL. It was on the edge of 1970. YUUUGE hit here in Holland. The girl next door was called Rozemarie. Gorgeous girl, about 4 yrs older than me.

I remember me singing My Boy by Elvis Presley out loud, thinking I was alone and she passed by... okay, that was kinda embarassing for a 10 yr old shy boy.

Ya know, I may be having a senior moment. I just googled the song and it appears Bobby Sherman didn't record it, only Edison. So I guess we were 13 and making fun of Edison Lighthouse. Who knows why we thought it was funny, but we sure as hell did.

We watched this every Sunday evening.. very popular show in those days. LOL, I am getting old, those where the days.

This song was on the soundtrack of "The Boat That Rocked", a fantastic movie about the first music pirate ship off shore from the UK. You should look it up. You will love it.
