We had a major thunderstorm here today and my friend's car died right in the middle of the busiest road downtown - on the way to a memorial for a friend who died a few days ago - I got out to help push the car into a MacDonalds parking lot. I mean it was so crazy because I haven't been in a car that broke down in the road since highschool, and it hardly EVER rains here, so I was soaking wet, and good thing I was wearing my boots, as opposed to the strappey sandels I was considering before I left the house. It was good though, because all these other people came out of their cars in the rain to help push off this busy road.

I went into the MacDonalds to make phone call (help come get me!), there were all of these homeless people - to be out of the rain. I had no idea this is where they'd gravitate. So sorry for them all.
