I don't hate myself and I am white. I do hate the division that has come over our country. Hell, I have it flat in my back yard....I live in Virginia and Charlottesville shit happened right here....and I was flabbergasted to find that if I fall on the side of a Robert E Lee statue that I just became a white supremacist or a Nazi!!! I live in a county that has a big rebel flag that flies high upon the road of I95...and my county now wants to smack that flag down but they won't because they have no right to.... It's private property and it's flying high and strong and it's pissing people off just like Robert E Lee and Stonewall Jackson and many other monuments since we're in VIRGINIA!!! I just don't get it....I really don't want to offend because I am truly the last person that would want to offend....but I don't get it....because I think our Robert E Lee statue should remain I have suddenly become a racist......I'm not I'm lost.... I hate that our country is so divided...and I don't understand why these statues that have stood for so long now are a problem.  I'm right there with you InTune! I live in VA as well and am watching this madness unfold all around me. I love Monument Avenue and all the historic statues, buildings, museums, and districts all around it, and would hate to see any of the monuments torn down. I think they should all remain for reasons far apart from racism, but instead for the preservation of our history. A history that certain groups seem hellbent on revising or obscuring completely. It's crazy....and I feel so depressed about it! I just don't know where we're going with this shit???? It's nuts.... I don't get it...and somehow I am a racist to boot among other things....I might might trigger some antifa snowflake with my Challenger too, lol :-) I would advise you both to give less fucks about what people who don't know or have experienced your life have to say. Obiously, some people are purely driven by agenda, but you don't really see that in the real world. Fuck'em.
