I was prepping for a long weekend leading into a Christmas with no gifts under the tree. Long story ado with debt and medical bills that doesn't need gotten into.
Was talking to a co-worker tonight, first night back after doctor-ordered 2-week hiatus, about how my girlies, the trees, don't even make x-mas lists until someone asks them for one. Would they have been disappointed if what I was prepping for came to be? Surely, but they would also have surely kept it to themselves. My co-worker said I must be lucky or amazing - because most kids are fucking assholes these days xD
But anyway, my father messaged me asking if I'd be home 'cause he had a present to drop off. Told me I ought to deposit the check today or tomorrow. So I got to spend about $240 for gifts split between the trees, which is right about what I give them each year usually. And $10 on myself so I can finally have a pair of blue light-up cat ear headphones :3
So daddy saved the day in a peculiar way and it was a bit magical, I must say, how easily a few perfect things for each of the trees jumped out and bit me, saying, 'get me for her, please?'
Sorry,
, will segue now into silence amidst a playlist that's been on my mind - a collection of memories. Tracks/videos I've shared that have made an impression upon others here in jb std time. Times I've been able to know, for certain, I'm not enjoying a tune alone. Two is better than one, but more is always more fun...
