LOL! I just saw your post about Hammerjacks! I am from Northern VA. and I used to go to Hammerjacks back in the day, so funny!

That place was crazy!!!

I saw Kix at Hammerjacks many, many moons ago!

Kix substituted for Whitesnake as the opening act for Priest a few years back, when Priest did their 'British Steel' anniversary tour at Merriweather.
Hammerjack's was THE place to be in those days. Glad to know there's someone else out there that remembers!
Also, Iron Maiden included the Hammerjack's logo on their 'Somewhere in Time' album..pretty cool tribute, IMO.

That's sad, I actually have two Hotel California albums ( I don't know how I have two but I do) but I don't have a turn table anymore and I don't have Hotel California on cd! They're old! And so am I!

I do have some Beatles on CD....my CD collection is vast but I don't even listen to them anymore...I used to have a great sound system to listen to my CDs, these HUGE Kenwood Speakers but I don't even have them hooked up anymore..my receiver crapped out and I never replaced it. I have really good computer speakers and a really good outdoor speaker that I hook my phone to and I link it to pandora...I so suck now!!!

My car doesn't even have a CD player and I drive a Dodge Challenger!!!

I don't care for the stereo in the car though....it's kind of lame!! If it were true to me it would blow the doors off!!!




My old car was a Honda Accord and I had a custom sound system put in and this was my test CD......

What the fuck???

Things are not as they should be!!! LOL!

It's kind of hard to recapture our old glory sometimes, Tune. But we can give it one hell of a try! My RSX has a pretty decent Bose system, but it must be quite a sight to see an old s.o.b. blaring Motley Crue like he was 17 again lol!
